    Enjoy the sights and sounds of winter bird watching in Danville’s parks. Learn the songs of common wintering birds while embarking on a short hike. Search for birds hiding in the brush along the Dan River. Bring your own binoculars. Ages 8 and up.

    Learn to paint the Bob Ross way. Kathy Anthony, Certified Bob Ross Instructor, will help you complete a beautiful painting in just one day. Please bring a roll of paper towels and a 16 x 20 canvas. All other supplies are included. Adults 18 and over.

    Children will spend 30 minutes learning basic skills of ballet, jazz, and hip hop. Dance requires the movement of arms, legs, and torso designed to increase flexibility, muscle strength, and range of motion. Dance classes improve emotional and mental stability and promotes socialization skills. No special wardrobe required.
